Roti Recipe (Indian Flatbread)

Main Ingredients

Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Wheat Flour

Water

The Dough

Mix the dough ingredients using your hands or a stand mixer. Cover with a damp napkin to proof for 15 minutes.

Roll The Roti

Divide the dough into small palm-sized portions. Lightly cover both sides of dough with flour then flatten using a rolling pin into a circular shape.

Cook in a pan for 10-20 seconds until the colour changes & small bumps form. Then flip the roti onto an open flame. Once it fluffs up, remove & its ready to eat!

Cook The Roti

They are traditionally served alongside an Indian curry, vegetable side dish, or daal.
