Vegetarian Gastronomy has been such a great resource for me for wholesome, vegetarian recipes for the whole family. I’ve made all kinds of dishes from this blog – Mexican, Thai, Indian, Salads, Soups, Baking, you name it! The food always tastes great, and best of all, it works for everyone in the family. If I’m looking to make something new, this is where I look! And I keep coming back!! I’ve even used it to make dishes for the very first time for visiting friends and family, because I can count on anything Anjali posts to always turn out great. Thanks for making such a great resource available!!

I come from an Indian family that loves to cook (and eat!)…but all that changed when my younger son was born. He was diagnosed with severe, life threatening food allergies to numerous items, including dairy, soy, legumes, nuts and egg. We were at a complete loss when it came to cooking fresh and healthy meals for him. And that’s when Anjali’s blog full of vegan and vegetarian recipes truly saved us! We started with basic vegan recipes modified to exclude soy and nuts, and then, once he outgrew the soy allergy, we were able to try numerous other yummy meals!! The wacky chocolate cake was the first dessert my son ever tasted and we baked it for his first birthday. It’s still a family favorite. Anjali would readily offer suggestions too when asked about substitutes. She has a love of cooking that shows in the flavorful, nutritious recipes she creates and posts. An amazing resource! Thanks for helping us survive our vegan adventure!

I am a regular “customer” of Vegetarian Gastronomy! It is my favorite website to find vegetarian and eggless dishes that satisfy both the variety of palates in my household as well as the desire for something new. The recipes are always inventive, easy to replicate, and never disappoint in terms of taste. Some of my favorites are the Cacio e Pepe, Spicy Thai Noodles, and Green Curry with Corn. One issue I always have is making tofu dishes more flavorful, and this is the only place I’ve found recipes that really pack a punch when it comes to cooking tofu with restaurant quality. I love the Garlic Pepper Tofu, the Balsamic Marinated Tofu, and the Palak Spinach Tofu! The ingredients are never over-complicated and I usually have most in my pantry. I also love that I can usually whip up a recipe in less than 30 minutes, sometimes less than 15! This is a MUST for a busy working mom. I often check the website at my work desk in the afternoon, see what recipes work with the ingredients I already have at home, and then cook up something delicious with no stress and time to spare! Can’t wait to see what more is coming…

This blog in a word is amazing! I never thought I would eat the veggies I love and make now! Because of these easy and healthy recipes, I can cook and eat squashes, broccoli, pumpkin, brussels sprouts, various desserts, and the list goes on. The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures really help someone who has not used certain vegetables before, like the spaghetti squash. I will say that at first glance you may feel there are a lot of steps, but once I made 3-4 dishes from here, I realized they are actually much easier than I thought and all the ingredients are also readily available anywhere. I also love that the focus is on vegan and gluten free, since we do not eat eggs, and there are so many people with restrictions these days, it makes it easy for me to find and make yummy food…

Vegetarian Gastronomy is a great go-to website for all vegetarians and vegans. I often run out of ideas and with a young daughter I am always looking for something quick and simple. Anjali has recipes organized and categorized so well that it’s really quick and simple to understand. The even better part is that the dishes are always unique and items I would otherwise define as “complicated” to make, but yet with the way Anjali lays it out, it becomes the most uncomplicated recipe to work with. And the ultimate test which has passed every time is when you get tons of compliments from your loved ones and friends for the food you have made. Thanks Anjali!

I have been coming to Anjali’s website since she first started it and I have never been disappointed! Every recipe I have tried has been both delicious and easy to follow….and that’s saying a lot because I am somewhat of an amateur in the kitchen. So many of the dishes I have learned to cook from the blog have become a staple dish in my apartment. As a busy student, many of Anjali’s recipes are great for a quick yet satisfying meal. I constantly find myself skimming through the website looking for something new to try because I know I will not be let down.

I’ve used this blog many times and tried alot of recipes including the jalapeno poppers, poblano mushroom enchiladas, spaghetti squash, cilantro rice, etc. All were delicious recipes. I like how the recipes are very detailed with instructions on how to prepare and modifications if needed. This blog is definitely a place I check out when I want to try something new for a dinner party or for just a casual night at home. Excited to see new recipes!

The Vegetarian Gastronomy is one of the best vegetarian website that I have ever found. I always plan for next day’s dinner menu one day in advance. My family is not fond of eating typical Indian/Gujrati dishes every day. Therefore, I always look for the recipes making a variety of dishes from Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, etc. Vegetarian Gastronomy has given a plentiful of ideas for my family to enjoy as well as relish the food. Vegetarian Gastronomy’s recipes are easy to follow and most of the ingredients are easily available in my kitchen pantry. For the last three years, I have stopped ordering the “eggless” cakes from outside vendors ever since I started baking the cakes, brownies from the Vegetarian Gastronomy website. One of the best recipes I love is carrot and pineapple cake with pinch of cinnamon. My 12 year old loves pesto flavored pastas and Thai Basil Eggplant. I have received many compliments when dishes are prepared with the help of getting ideas from this website. Looking forward to see more recipes! Thank you, Anjali.

This is an awesome website that I recommend to all my friends. Both my husband and I love making the dishes on here, some of our favorites being the sweet chili tofu, poblano and mushroom enchiladas, roasted red pepper pasta, and black eyed peas curry. A friend of mine recently tried making the tortilla soup fom here and said her toddlers cleared their plates! There is definitely something for everyone in the family to enjoy on here and the recipes are always unique. I can’t thank Anjali enough for the time she takes to keep this website updated and am so excited to see what she posts next!!!!
